Finau, a utility mid-court defender was a dynamo on the court last year for the Tactix. The 24 year old moved out of home in Auckland for the first time to join the franchise in 2011, and enjoyed the change of scene so much, she's back for a second season.

Born in the USA, Finau moved to Auckland as a youngster. She spent the 2009 and 2010 seasons playing for the Northern Mystics in the ANZ Championship and has also tasted higher honours, representing the Samoa Under 21 team at the World Youth Cup in Florida in 2005.  
  
Finau has also played korfball and represented Counties-Manukau at national league level. Since the 2011 season ended, Finau has been over in Australia playing netball in Perth.  

Her netball goal is to always "keep the faith."
