A former Villa Maria College student, Jo was part of the team that won the NZ Secondary Schools title in 2008, as well as tasting victory with the Christchurch Netball Centre Under 19s at the Netball New Zealand Age Group Championships. Jo was a member of the NZ Under 21 squad from 2009 - 2011.
Jo was also part of the Canterbury team which won the 2010 and 2011 NPC, and this year was the captain of the Canterbury Under 21 squad.         

Her height makes her an imposing part of the Tactix defensive lineup. She sees playing in the ANZ Championship as an important step on her journey towards making the Silver Ferns teams to contest the 2014 Commonwealth Games and 2015 World Championships. 

Jo is currently studying a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Marketing and Finance at Lincoln University.
